Britain's Foreign Office Minister Alistair Burt has condemned the latest deadly missile attack on Camp Liberty and called on the Government of Iraq to bring those responsible to justice.
Mr Burt, FCO Minister for Middle East and North Africa, Alistair Burt, said: "I strongly condemn the attack on Camp Liberty that took place in Iraq yesterday. The British Government calls on the Government of Iraq to fully investigate the attack and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has strongly condemned the Saturday's rocket attack on Camp Liberty that has killed two residents and wounded 70 more.
Camp Liberty in Iraq houses some 3,000 members of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) who were forcibly evicted from their decade's home in Camp Ashraf in Iraq.
The press release by the UNHCR issued on Saturday said: "The High Commissioner for Refugees, António Guterres strongly condemns today's rocket attack on Camp Liberty in Iraq that reportedly killed two people and wounded dozens."

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has appointed the United Nations' top envoy in Iraq as the new special representative in Congo and the head of the U.N. peacekeeping mission in the troubled central African nation, the Associated Press reported on Monday.
Meanwhile independent Iraqi news agencies reported on Monday that Martin Kobler met with Iranian regime ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaie-far, who is also a member of the Iranian regime's terrorist Quds Force.

AP — Video clips from Iran show mourners chanting opposition slogans at the funeral of a dissident cleric in the largest political protest in years.
The cries of "death to the dictator" do not appear directly related to next week's presidential election. But they echo protest chants after President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's disputed re-election in 2009 and are likely to alarm security officials on full alert before the June 14 vote.

Iran could be undergoing a monumental change in less than three weeks. On June 14 the Islamic Republic is holding an election to choose a new president. While the electorate has shown since 2009, at a cost of many lives, that it is ready for change, the process is farcical window dressing by the autocratic leadership who would have us believe that there is some modicum of democracy within their theocratic dictatorship.
