Iran's oil revenue has soared but three-quarters of people struggle to survive

Iran has earned a massive $863.5 billion during the eight years of Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's presidency as three-quarters of the population are struggling to meet their basic needs, it was revealed.

The figures were released by the Khabar Online website on March1, which has links to Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani indicate that Iranian regime has earned $299 billion during the second term of Ahmadinejad.

Stop Fundamentalism – American authorities are once again alleging Iranian government of jamming satellite television programming in the wake of new street unrests in Tehran Wednesday, following economic crisis in that country.

Rial, Iran’s currency, lost over 40 percent of its value in less than a week beginning last Saturday.  American Dollar’s street value which was about 22,000 Rials only two weeks ago was sold as high as 40,000 Rials by Wednesday this week.  Many businesses and shop owners closed down due to unpredictable fluctuations in prices.

Anti-Ahmadinejad protesters gather outside UN

NEW YORK (AFP) — Protesters gathered outside the United Nations on Wednesday to demonstrate against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as he made his last speech as Iranian leader to the UN General Assembly.

"Ahmadinejad, no, no, no!" the crowd of several thousand mostly Iranians chanted.

Protesters also praised the US government for its plan to remove an Iranian exile group called the People's Mujahedeen of Iran, or MEK, from its list of organizations it deems to be terrorist groups.

Iranian demonstrators in New York participated in a rally against the Mahmoud Ahmadinejad near the Warwick New York Hotel where the Iranian regime's President is staying at while in New York for the United Nations General Assembly on September 24, 2012 in New York City.

Demonstrators chanted anti-Ahmadinejad slogans: "Ahmadinejad is terrorist"  "Ahmadinejad out of UN."

Iran sends elite troops to aid Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria

Iran is intensifying its support for the regime of Bashar al-Assad by sending 150 senior Revolutionary Guards commanders to Syria to help repel opposition attempts to overthrow the government.

Western intelligence officials say that Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has personally sanctioned the dispatch of the experienced officers to ensure that the Assad regime, Iran's most important regional ally, survives the threat to its survival.

In addition, Iran has shipped hundreds of tons of military equipment, including guns, rockets, and shells, to Syria through the regular air corridor that has been established between Damascus and Tehran.
