AFP, Tehran, 25 Dec 2011 - A woman sentenced to death by stoning in Iran for adultery may be hanged instead, a justice official was quoted as saying by the Fars news agency on Sunday.

WIP Talk, 2 Nov 2011 - More than 5 months have passed since Iraqi forces last carried out a brutal attack against a refugee camp in Iraq housing 3,400 Iranian dissidents - 1,000 of which are women. That attack left 36 people dead, including 8 women, and 375 other men and women were left injured. The residents of this camp are Iranian exiles, members of the resistance movement struggling against the theocratic dictatorship ruling Iran.

ILA-Repressive State Security Force units in Tehran arrested a woman protesting the embezzlement and extortions of the clerical regime’s officials.

ILA-The director general of the mullahs’ so-called Culture Office in the Ministry of Sciences announced the establishment of women-only university in each province.

Al-Arabiya, 9 Oct 2011 - A member of Iranian parliament’s judicial commission on Sunday demanded the government withdraw passports from women who violate a law requiring them to wear the Muslim headscarf, Fars News Agency reported.

ILA- Due to prevention of medical care by the Iranian regime, Kobra Amir-Khizi, a political prisoner and a relative of Ashraf residents, is on the verge of losing her eyesight.

ILA- An official of the Iranian regime’s State Security Force threatened Iranian women and girls with measures against those violating the mullah-fabricated law on ‘mal-veiling ‘. 

AFP - EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton has appointed an advisor to mull over the fate of thousands of outlawed Iranians facing expulsion from a camp in Iraq, their home for 30 years.

ILA-The Iranian regime has transferred all ordinary female prisoners from Evin and Gohardasht prisons to a new facility located in Khurin Varamin, south of Tehran.

ILA- Political prisoner Farah Vazehan is in poor physical condition. She was taken to the hospital last Sunday after her condition deteriorated but was reportedly returned to prison because the head of the hospital refused to admit her due to a lack of beds. 

ILA- In a report about class gaps in Iran under the rulership of the mullahs, Washington Post wrote, the picture that the clerical regime of Iran painted at the beginning of the revolution in 1979, promised to the poor that there will be equality throughout the society by fair distribution of oil cash.

ILA- Reza Joshan, suffering from various illnesses inside prison, was transferred to solitary confinement in Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison (west of Tehran) after being insulted by prison officials, reports from inside Iran indicate.

ILA- A member of the Iranian regime’s Culture Commission in the Majlis (parliament) admitted to the failure of the mullahs’ repressive plots due to the brave Iranian women’s perseverance, saying plans to have State Security Force units confront “mal-veiling” has had negative results.

ILA- Human rights website Edalat reported on July 20th that by transferring a number of female political prisoners from the Qarachek Prison in the city of Varameen to the infamous Evin Prison, this prison has become overcrowded even more.
